REQUIREMENTS:    Masters degree in electronics engineering, related field, or equivalent. 5 years of experience in electronics technical support, electronics engineer, or other related field.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing technical support department.  Assign professional staff to resolve each complaint, and work closely with professional staff to troubleshoot and direct corrections of technical problems with the electronic equipment reported by clients using knowledge of system designs/circuitry, processors, chips, FM, AM, VHF, UHF, broadcasting (digital and analog), and other electronic equipment.

Direct, coordinate and control system corrections/repairs by reviewing system parameters and designs to provide technology solutions compatible with proven reliability. Assure that all electronics equipment still meets FCC and International  standards.

 

Review and verify theoretical calculus for AM, FM, VHF, UHF, digital and analog transmissions during repairs to maintain electronics equipment functioning properly using appropriate formulas to continue to serve the intended area through radiation patters, microwave, digital and analog transmissions.   Must review and approve repair work performed by professional staff in order to maintain high quality technical support, and to assure no loss of transmission occurs during repairs. Responsible for training company staff on electronics equipment, and keeping upper management/ownership appraised of latest developments in electronic engineering. 

 

Analyze technology, and resource needs to assess feasibility of projects including budgeting. Maintain relationships with clients through various forms of communications to inform them of available equipment updates in Spanish, including traveling to clients throughout Latin America. Maintain relationships with vendors worldwide to have accessibility to latest technology equipment and updates.
